Vasopresina vs. epinefrina en la resucitación cardiopulmonar y cerebral.

de la respuesta presora de las catecolaminas y la respuesta hormonal con liberación de corticotropina, cortisol y vasopresina en sujetos sometidos a reanimación cardiopulmonar y cerebral., ha verificado la correlación existente entre los niveles endo genos de vasopresina y el retorno a la circulación espontánea y sorprendentemente la escasa probabilidad de supervivencia cuando existen niveles altos de catecolaminas. Esto nos motivo a realizar una revisión practica, sencilla y actualizada sobre las acciones que presentan la vasopresina vs epinefrina sobre el flujo sanguÃneo coronario, flujo sanguÃneo renal y cerebral durante la preanimación cardiopulmonar y cerebral basado en estudios experimentales en animales y humanos. La Vasopresina apoyada en los estudios es una nueva alternativa en el tratamiento del paro cardiacorespiratorio pero la epinefrina continua siendo la droga de elección.
